IPID 2011 Conference: Lugano, Switzerland (September 12-13, 2011) The 2011 Annual Conference of the International Network for Postgraduate Students in the Area of ICT4D (IPID) was held at Università della svizzera italiana (USI), Lugano, Switzerland. This conference granted postgraduate researchers the opportunity to present their work to a diverse audience, and to gain positive and valuable experience. It was also an opportunity for young scientists to network and engage with international scholars in ICT4D.

Dr Gertrudes Macueve, Director of the master’s program in Informatics at Universidade Eduardo Mondlane, Department of Mathematics within the Faculty of Sciences
